Random Thoughts

Our house has been on the market for 3 months now. No luck yet. The house we were hoping to buy just dropped in price another 10 grand. Man I wish we could make it happen.... time for positive thinking.

This house that we would like to buy is open floor plan, bigger, and in a nice neighborhood. Our house now is very nice with a lot of land and 3 pole barns but not really what we want anymore.

And on to Weight loss.....

My weight watchering didn't go quite as well this week (fell off the wagon at Island fest and a friend's party) Still lost 1.4 pounds so no complaints. Was expecting a gain actually.

The Camper Broke My Camera!!!

We had a great weekend camping by Lake Michigan..... except.... the camper broke my camera. I'm so pissed. Actually I'm the idiot that left it by the sink and somehow water flooded the area (not sure how I got so wild washing the dishes). The camera is dead.... RIP. Knowing my husband and ...well.. myself, the next camera will be new and improved... and more expensive. I'll keep you posted. Now if I can get the pictures that were on there off I'll be thrilled.

Our Kitchen was completely redone about 2 years ago. Not real keen on the color in the little China Cabinet thing but haven't gotten around to repainting.... probably wont happen. Gotta get some before pics on here... you'll be soo amazed!!!

Bathroom Before and After!!!

Our bathroom was a scary place when we moved here. It was carpeted and had the toilet in the middle of the room. Lots of gold. At the time we didn't use any of the plumbing (because it kept backing up) I only did my hair in here. How did I deal!!!!

NEW Shower, Toilet, Vanity, Tile and everything really. Honestly not my dream bathroom but sooooooooo much better!

The Realtor came over today....

She was very positive about selling our home, which I guess I'd expect. She is going to pull some "comps" and see where we should price. I'll keep you posted.
She seemed to really like what we've done since we bought the house in 2005. She is the one who sold us this place. She drove by twice when she came out today because it's changed so much.
Sydney was scared of Jenny (realtor) which is actually quite funny because, Jenny is a real sweetheart. Sydney was hidding in the corner of the recroom making pouty lips at her.
I don't know what Sydney's issue is with girls.... but she was the opposite way last week when the male contractor and our male neighbor (Kelly) were here. She kept asking Dan (the contractor) to pick her up and she's never met him before.... I think she thinks all women are nurses. And nurses get you with needles. She'd be real unhappy if she found out both her Grandma's are nurses.....

My Desk is a disaster and check out that closet!! I painted the closet with several coats primer and paint. It looks a lot better now! I'd like to paint the desk white too.
